• MediZen Advanced
Imaging, located in Fountain Valley in the heart of Orange County,
is a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center that provides
convenient, non-invasive, FDA-approved early detection of cancer
and disease.
• Dr. David T. Mai and Brian H. Ton founded MediZen
Advanced Imaging in December 2003.
• The sophisticated equipment at MediZen Advanced Imaging
can be utilized for the monitoring and detection of heart
disease, lung cancer, colon cancer, breast cancer, osteoporosis,
neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s, aneurysms
and other ailments.
• Dr. David T. Mai is the Medical Director of MediZen
Advanced Imaging. A pioneer and expert in the field of radiology,
Dr. Mai is a board certified radiologist who has extensive
training in imaging as well as radiology.
• Heart disease is the number one cause of death in
America, claiming 931,108 lives in 2001. Often, the first
symptom of heart disease is a fatal heart attack. The second
leading cause of death in the U.S. is lung cancer, a disease
treatable only if detected and diagnosed early.
• The name “MediZen” reflects a blend of

multislice CT scanner from General Electric, the GE Lightspeed
16.
• The Lightspeed 16 has the fastest rotational speed
of any available multi-slice scanner, providing the clearest
images possible. These images allow physicians to monitor
and detect an abnormality in its early stages.
• In addition to the multislice CT scanning, MediZen
Advanced Imaging also provides Positron Emission Tomography
(PET)/Computed Tomography (CT) scanning, mammography, ultrasound,
Open MRI, CT Angiography, Virtual Colonoscopy, Lung Screening,
Full Body Imaging and Bone Density Screening.
• Candidates for MediZen’s Early Disease Detection
procedures include individuals who are 45 or older and are
concerned about their health and those who have a known family
history of conditions such as heart disease, cancer, high
cholesterol, high blood pressure or anyone who smokes tobacco.
